Higher Giant

As the press release for this nifty four-song release declares, when you bring together four gentlemen who have collectively spent time in underground stalwarts like Token Entry, Lifetime, and Kid Dynamite (to name but a few), the listener has an idea of what he or she is about to hear and hopes to not be disappointed. Forget aspirations to any sort of super-group type status – I just didn’t want the music of Higher Giant to suck, as these guys have too much going for them to fall on their faces. Luckily for me, Al’s Moustache packs a quality punch, and it’s one laced with equal measures of punk and rock influences, with some hardcore sprinkled in liberally.
