It seems that performing at Rudyard’s earlier this month did Jandek some good. The famed recluse will continue his emergence into the Houston, TX music scene (ya know, the city where he actually lives/hibernates/records) with a show at DiverseWorks on Sunday, May 3rd, 2009.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm. General admission tickets will cost $12 and advance tickets can be purchased at the DiverseWorks website, but I can’t imagine the tickets lasting too long, especially when it’s a show of this nature. Spacey, trippy folk-blues outfit MV & EE will have the express privilege of opening for Jandek.
