Honestly, I’m a sucker for a good bass-driven, electro-pop song. Maybe all of the work I did in college listening to ‘80s pop music so as to educate myself on everything I missed growing up has finally come to fruition. But there’s something that really gets me going when I hear a shimmering, pulsing synthy hook over a deep, sexy bass line. It makes me want to get off my fat white ass and find a dance floor somewhere.
