Ah, you see, Ms. Courtney, as a Christian, I can quite appreciate your reference to the Plant/Krauss show being a holy experience. Those two voices together would be a sublime mixture of both mystical and heavenly elements. Thanks for your suggestion! I will most certainly be present for their performance.

I would suggest you add Robert Plant and Allison Krauss to your must see list. Seriously. I saw them in June, and likened the set to seeing GOD. I know, you're Christian, and that's slightly blasphemous, but I want you to think about the song "Battle of Evermore" with Allison singing the high parts. Right. Put them on the list.

You're more than welcome Bob. What your post (and subsequent posts) discussed is a matter of vital artistic importance that too few people view as NOT being that important.

And yes, I think that I will take your advice regarding Mrs. Jones & her Kings. Thanks!

Thank you for drawing attention to my blog post. I will say to you though that since you are going to this festival, you should do EVERYTHING in your bold-faced powers to see Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings. One of the best live shows you're likely to see at this thing.
