For those of you who are my friends in the real world, you are aware that, a month ago, I started Newton Technical, an independent technical writing company, with my friend & business partner, Mr. Travis J. Ziebro. As of today, Travis & I would like to welcome everyone to Adventures in Start-Up Land — the blog for Newton Technical. To those of you who might not be familiar with who we are and what we do, the purpose of Newton Technical is to produce high quality technical writing that is operational in scope and designed to enhance all of our client company’s day-to-day activities. While that might seem like an ambitious goal for such a young, wet-behind-the-ears start-up company, we truly believe that we have the individual skill sets and the corporate mindset necessary to make a positive impact in the business world.
All of that being said, the purpose of “Adventures in Start-Up Land” is for Travis and I to present a running diary of our trials, tribulations, and general experiences with starting up a small, independent company on our own. Everything here will be honest, true, and heartfelt: there won’t be any sugar-coating of what’s going on with Newton Technical. It is our desire to serve as a resource for ourselves as we grow and for others who might be in a predicament similar to ours. Feel free to comment on each post or contact us in order to continue to conversation. Again, welcome to “Adventures in Start-Up Land” — it looks to be a very interesting and engaging journey!
