Do yourselves a favor & go read this review of a recent David Bazan show in Seattle, WA, written by my friend Michael Dallas Miller. I first learned of Bazan when he fronted the amazing indie rock band Pedro the Lion for over a decade. I saw Pedro the Lion play 5 or 6 time and have seen a couple of shows since Bazan has gone solo (though Pedro the Lion was primarily his creative outlet & he was the only permanent member of the group). And mostly, I just wanted to give my friend Michael some press — so head over to the review and give Michael some love.

I enjoyed it. I wanna hear more stuff by Bazan.
Is there a place like Crocodile Cafe in Houston?
Is Brasil’s like that? Or NotSoUh? (I don’t get out much anymore)
Where you can actually hear the lyrics and not just insane noise.
Or is that more of a reflection of Houston artists than the clubs?

Where do I know you from again? Have we met at a show at some point?
