File under: “Go Ahead & Crush My Dreams”

Moz talks about touring, a reunion of The Smiths, and the lack thereof to NME.

Pitchfork’s snarky commentary on the same story (oh, how I love their sense of humor)

This makes me so very sad. Granted, such a reunion has been hotly debated and so very dubious for the past two decades, but to hear my beloved Morrissey effectively close the door on all future debate of such issues simply gives me heartache. And on top of killing any opportunity for a reunion of The Smiths, he’s talking about ceasing his own touring for the “foreseeable future” — THAT hurts to hear.

Why Moz?!?!? WHY?!?!? What have we, your loyal fans, done to earn your disfavor? Please, please, please let us get what we want….

She’s seen and directly experienced what it’s like to not have much in this world and that makes her alternately hyper-compassionate and hyper-frustrated at what she observes around her. But you can never tell that there’s a war inside of her as her shining blue eyes, flowing dark hair, and perpetual smile always find a way to set her parents, siblings, and everyone else around her at ease.

But after years on the mission field, the family has recently moved to America with two purposes in mind – a possible singing career for Becky & a job at a on-the-grow church for Dad. Continue reading “Becky’s Biography (Attempt #2)”
