Interpol on Pitchfork

“Pitchfork: Why did you personally find being in a rock band more appealing that making hip-hop in some form?”
Paul Banks: I think rock will always be more exciting live, because you have a live drummer. You just can’t fuck with live drummers. That’s the most exciting thing that can happen in terms of witnessing music.”
Once again, I bring you material from another source. Someday, I’ll be writing for this publication or another one quite similar to it. Hell, for all we know, I’ll start up my own magazine with some friends that will compete (and compete well) on the taste-making Internet. But until that happens, I bring you an interview on Pitchfork with the wonderful gentlemen of Interpol. Enjoy!
