Week 6, Day 1
Just a short post today, mostly some links to what I’ve been reading lately & some pictures from the past few days of camp. I’m almost to the stage where I’m counting the hours before I get to go home. This whole experience has been wonderful, but I’m also VERY ready to get back home and resume my place in the “real world”. And no, I’m not talking about that once-good, now-hokey MTV “reality” show, but regular, non-camp life. As I’ve said before, I am working with some great people, people who be my friends in the “real world”, but we’re not there — we’re at camp. With any luck, I’ll keep in contact with some of them after camp; you don’t spend 8 weeks together without making some life-long connections.
