For Mother on Mother’s Day (Part 3)
Across the limitless yesterdays,
Throughout today
And
Into the depths of the future,
It is there:
A love, presence, and strength
Like no other.
Though we grow up,
Grow out, and (hopefully)
Move out,
Even as our paths
Diverge,
Mingle,
Twist,
Or
End,
Still it remains.
Over long distances,
Whether they’re physical or emotional,
She is there.
She is Mother.
