Character Biography #1
Rebecca (Becky) Jameson:
A fun-loving 15-year-old, Becky has spent most of her life traveling with her family, seeing the world, living in different countries, and generally going wherever her parents’ missionary work might send them. Born in Perth, Australia, her family’s travels have taken them to Papau New Guinea, Indonesia, and other islands in the Indian Ocean & Western Pacific Rim area. Furthermore, Becky is also the oldest of 5 kids, meaning that she’s also invested lots of time into having to take care of her younger siblings while Mom (Caroline) & Dad (Thomas) spend time investing themselves into the lives of the villagers in whatever country they might be stationed. She’s seen and directly experienced what it’s like to not have much in this world and that makes her alternately hyper-compassionate and hyper-frustrated at what she observes in the world around her. But you can never tell that there’s a war inside of her as her shining blue eyes, flowing dark hair, and perpetual smile always find a way to set her parents, siblings, and everyone else around her at ease.
But after years on the mission field, the family has recently moved to America with two purposes in mind – a possible singing career for Becky & a job at a on-the-grow church for Dad. Continue reading “Character Biography #1″
