You,
Of infinite perfection,
Descended
To a fleshly body and
Chose
Humanity & mortality,
Because
I/We/Everyone required it,
Though
I/We/Everyone cannot truly comprehend why.
You,
Spending years amongst Your creation,
Wandered
With Your friends & followers,
Spreading
The Good News of Your coming Kingdom,
Because
I/We/Everyone needed it,
Though
I/We/Everyone could not truly understand why.
Thus.
You
Alone see all sin.
You
Alone have I/We/Everyone sinned against.
You
Alone wash away sin.
You
Alone should I/We/Everyone ask for forgiveness of those sins.
You
Alone can create new hearts.
You
Alone are God.
You
Alone are the Only Hope.
You
Alone, yesterday, today, & forever.

God as ‘alone’ is really thrown into stark relief.
Very effective.

I wanted to find a way to juxtapose God as “alone,” not because wants to be alone, but because God is alone, since God above/beyond humanity. Also, God is “alone” because creation chose to be separate from Creator, yet Creator wants to find ways to be with the created again. Thus, Jesus steps into the picture to bridge that gap, to bring together was never supposed to be apart.
