Grand Vistas With Small Steps
Filled with anticipation,
Rushing about though she knows not what for.
Creeping toward trepidation,
Her hope leaks out, now afraid of what’s in store.
She looks all around her
Wanting to see some possible way out.
Trying to remember
How she even got here & when it all headed south.
