I’m a committed, committable, always-strung-out culture junkie. And it’s getting easier every day to find my fix. Whereas in the past, TV shows stayed on the TV, news came in the newspaper, and films had a beginning, middle, and an end, the stories I follow today have no boundaries. Whether I’m catching up with a teen melodrama or struggling to interpret the latest news from Iraq, I’m getting updates in daily dribs and drabs, through old school broadcasts, or RSS feeds, or fictional characters who text my cell phone.
