Stuck, Blind, & Piss-Poor
Complacency –
such a convenient place to rest,
such an easy place to hide,
yet it’s the very safety I should resist.
Because…
I sit
on my hands
and
I wait
on the trends
before I take a step outside the door.
To stop & see
before moving is to lack all trust
in anyone or anything outside of
that which I can truly touch.
